Once you have defined your selection criteria, you are ready to start your search for the GPS that will satisfy your requirements. I recommend you use Amazon.com to search for your GPS. This may surprise you since most people think of Amazon as only a store.
However, it has very powerful search and sort functions that let you find the best running GPS very quickly and it contains a wealth of information about each GPS.
On Amazon, GPS units are listed in the Electronics Department so begin by selecting "Electronics" in the left drop down search box. Then enter "running GPS" in the right search input box and click the orange "Go" button to the right of the search boxes.
This will return all of the running GPS sold on Amazon sorted by relevance. You will see "Relevance" in the "Sort by" box on the right side of the page. Click on the "Sort by" drop down box and click on "Bestselling". This will sort all the running units in best selling order (high to low). Scroll down the search results pages until you see a running GPS that interests you. Click on the link for the GPS and the product page will open.
There are two important links just under the name of the GPS at the top of the product page.
The first is the link "More about this product". Clicking on this will take you to the location on the page that gives you the technical and product information.
