This is a great dollhouse. It is sturdy and was easily assembled by my husband (took about 1 1/2 hours). My daughter's Barbie family will enjoy hours of fun in here! I don't think I would buy it for a small child even though the manufacturer rates it for 36 months to 12 years. My 8 year old adores it. I think the designs on the walls are fun (the lovebirds in the cage, the puppy on the sofa, too cute)!! If you are looking for specific wall designs you may want to consider building your own house from a kit.
